He graduated in 1995 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Uludağ. He completed his specialization in ophthalmology at the Ege University Faculty of Medicine. For a while he worked at Fatsa State Hospital.
Hakan Türker continues to work at the Net Göz Eye Surgery Clinic center, is an expert in glaucoma and acupuncture surgery.
